A Pattern To Those Who Believe

In the case of Saul, God chose the most bigoted Pharisee, filled with lies and murder, stained with the blood of the saints, his heart filled with evil desires. “I will make of this awful man the most successful missionary in the history of the world. I will reveal to Him my very heart and transform him and show him mysteries hidden from the foundation of the world. The world will not be able to stand before his testimony and witness to the New Testament in the blood of Christ. I will overthrow him just as certainly as I overthrew Pharaoh, but by grace and mercy, not by plagues and wrath.” Glory be to God. God’s victory over Saul was far greater than His victory over Pharaoh; for the latter victory was just over the body; the victory over Saul was in his heart and soul, as well as in his body.
