Silencing Satan

You'll note that form the beginning of our text we are told that Satan was at the ready, that he was fully prepared to tell God all about Joshua the high priest's sins and failures. Joshua's office didn't matter, nor did his obedience to God because he was still a sinful human being. For those who have been truly blood bought and born again by Jesus, you are still human. Each of us, myself included, still sin, still go through hard times, and still feel pain. Satan uses all of these things against us not only to attack us but to hurt the heart of God. So how do we as mere mortals silence Satan? While we ourselves can't shut him up we can give him less to work with. This is how we do it.
