Introduction to Acts

The Book of the Acts of the Apostles could just as easily be called the Acts of the Holy Spirit because the Spirit is discussed more than anything else in Luke's second volume (as he calls it) to Theophilus. his book chronicles the spread of Christianity over the Roman world, first by the original disciples and then by Saul of Tarsus, who had his name changed to Paul. Most importantly, it is obvious the message of the book is not a worldly message, but a heavenly one, describing the vertical call of God carried out on this horizontal plane we call Earth.
