Christianity is THE Pie in the Sky Religion

What would provoke us to seek after God were it not for trials, persecutions, illness, malice from others or even thoughtless neglect?

It is desirable to have earthly comfort and provisions for life. God's people are commanded to be part of His plan for helping with other's temporary earthly needs. What, then, when those in need are failed if not betrayed by family, society and even the church?

Expectantly, joyfully anticipating entry into heaven on Christ's account is the ultimate, beyond-earthly hope of the chastised and neglected believer. Jesus awaits His redeemed ones.
