Check Your Good Works at the Door

This sermon is designed to help you witness effectively to friends in works-based religions such as Islam, Judaism, and Mormonism. Works-based religions usually have the same basic plot line: There is a God. He is perfect and just. People do bad things, which is a problem. But God is also kind and forgiving. If you will be sorry for the bad things you do and work really hard to do lots of good things, God will probably forgive you. Is that the same message as the biblical gospel? How do you share the gospel with someone trapped in a works-based religion?
