The Gospel and Applications

Purpose: Today we need to see exhortations concerning the relationship of believing in the Gospel and its application to our lives so that we would be rightly believed and be changed by the Gospel in our lives.

1. We should have the Gospel lead to applications in our lives (v.1)
2. We should be aware that a right Gospel can have wrong applications (v.1-2a)
3. We should correct wrong applications with further truths of the Gospel (observing v.2b-14 and beyond)
