For This Child I Prayed

We begin this new series from First and Second Samuel with an in depth contemplation of a women, Hannah, who desired a child. The Lord had His reasons to leave her barren. The shame, her concern about the future plus the mocking from others was hard to bear. Hannah, the wife of Elkanah prayed to God, fasted and vowed a vow to God.
