Running the Race
Series Hebrews
The Bible provides a variety of images depicting the Christian life. Here in Hebrews the image is that of a Marathon. In the text we find the Event, the encouragement that comes from those who have run the race before us as well as the encumbrances we will face as we run. Jesus is presented as the ultimate example.
