To Live Is Christ

Christ can’t really be a part of life. He comes to us as God and as one who loves us more than we could ever love ourselves. So Paul describes himself as Christ’ slave and as living to make Christ known to others. He didn’t have another agenda or passion. But then, he also shows that everything important about being a human being comes from Christ—grace and peace, affection for others and even the Spirit who is Christ’s Spirit.
