Husbands, Love!

Dearly beloved congregation of our Lord Jesus Christ, we heard last week the apostolic command to husbands to love their wives. And so, in case you missed it, Paul repeats that command once again for us tonight. Last week he presented the example of Christ as the first reason that men ought to love their wives. Men, love because Jesus loves His bride! This week, we will see the second reason that men ought to love their wives. This reason is that a man and his wife are one body. And next week, we will see the final reason that men ought to love their wives, which is that marriage makes a new family and pictures forth for the world Christ and His love for His bride. So tonight, focus your attention on the truth that husbands ought to love their wives.
