The Lord of Patience
Series Book of Exodus
All of God's attributes are a unified whole. His patience is holy and colours His wrath. He must punish our sin, but holds back His wrath in His patience in order to accomplish His purposes. His patience is meant to lead us to repentance and His glory in salvation. His wrath will be poured out on us, or on Christ on our behalf if we repent and trust in His work on the cross.
