1 Samuel-part 8 - Give us a king

Fear is only healthy when it leads to the proper action. Fear that leads to Faith ~ results in repentance ~ seen in obedience which results in deliverance! Israel initially responded to God and submitted to His rule. God was Israel's KING, but Israel rejects His rule and demands a king like all the other nations. God had never intended Israel to be like the other nations. This is a sad turn in the life of Israel, but God will use it to accomplish His sovereign purpose.
