Working out of Free Love to Please God

I hope you are doing well. I look forward to being with you this Lord's Day. I will be preaching
on Philippians 2:12-13. It's a great text that shows both the power of God's Spirit at work in
our lives and our obligations to live for God's glory by the Spirit.
In preparation, please read the whole of Philippians if you have time to grasp Paul's picture of
the church united in love, living for the single purpose of knowing Christ and living for the
advantage of others to the glory of God. If your time is short, read primarily chapters 2-3.
Additionally, read Isaiah 53. Please pray that the Lord would cause us to know more of His
free love and persuade us more of His boundlessly generous Spirit's grace to enable us to do
all that He requires.
