The Risen Christ

One thing is certain. Death. John Milton said that ever since man's first disobedience, humanity has struggled with the reality that sooner or later, you and I are going to die. It's the great equalizer. Nothing is more clear than our passage today. Jesus was dead. His disciples grieved because they hoped he was the one to save them. At the darkest hour of death, Luke records the most electrifying moment in history. At the Jesus' tomb, an angel of the Lord said, he is not here, for he is risen.
