Ministry 101
Series Acts
There is an old expression that is still relevant to us today. "The more things change the more they stay the same," is still a truism for us today. The cyclical nature of everything, from the changing of the season, to the steadfastness of man, proves the point.
Conflict is something to contend with. Whether it be at home, work, or even church, conflict does happen. The question is then, "How do we deal with conflict?"
Remembering the transitional nature of the Book of Acts, we can clearly see the prominence of the Jews in the early chapters, but a larger emphasis on the Gentiles in the second half of this largely historical record.
The Apostle Paul would later write clear directives on how to take care of widows (Jew or Gentile) in 1 Timothy 5. This is the operative method for the church today.
