Guidelines for Religious Life

Israel is a nation God has chosen for Himself so their life is to be saturated with worship. God has been very specific in giving instructions for the offering of their sacrifices that are to be a part of their worship.

These guidelines include the context of making oaths and vows, particularly by women in their dedication of offerings to the Lord.

All of this is preparation for Israel entering the land and their overall tenor of their life. God will continue in His faithfulness to them and they must regard Him with the utmost reverence and respect in their privileged relationship with Him.
