Christ's Word to the Church in Pergamos

The church in Pergamos had some serious problems with less than ideal circumstances, yet, they had not denied Christ. Nevertheless, they were called to repent of what was lacking in the church. This is the call for all of the Lord's churches, to stand fast to what is biblical and repent of their sins. Being unfaithful to this can cause a church to cease to be a true church if she persists in her rebellion against God's commands. Let us first make our calling and election sure before God, join a sound church and be faithful therein.
