The Son's Divine Nature

As we continue to work thru the author’s prologue (vv. 1-4), we come to the center or heart of the author’s thought. The Son is uniquely qualified to be God’s Final Word because He is God’s self-revelation. In the Person of the Son, the true light and wisdom of God entered our world of sin, death and darkness. As we work thru verse 3, the author draws the recipient’s attention and our attention to three things: The Son’s Brilliant Radiance, The Son’s Unique Relationship to the Father, and The Son’s Providential Rule over Creation.
