"Divine Forgiveness Admired & Imitated"

Forgiveness is easily received and proportionately difficult to provide. It is a concept that is timeless and necessary. On May 17, 1885, a powerful message on this very topic was delivered at the Metropolitan Tabernacle. Mr. Spurgeon first examined the example of our Lord absorbing abuse of all kinds while withholding any sort of retribution. He then applied the apostolic command, "...as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive."
