In the previous sermon, looking at verses 1-4, Habakkuk makes his complaint to God about the wickedness of Judah and that God seems not to hear his prayers or his cries. "How long, O Lord" is Habakkuk's complaint. How long will we cry to you and hear nothing?

Today, we look at God's reply. God will raise up the Babylonians to deal out justice to the wicked Jews. But that raises a new complaint. The Babylonians are also exceedingly wicked, probably more so than the Jews. How can God use such wicked people to punish His people?
