A Banquet of Hope

We must remember and learn from the death of Jesus Christ. Jesus will drink the cup new with you. At the time Jesus established His Table, He anticipated His suffering and death. This verse looks to a new and entirely different Supper which anticipates the joy of a banquet in His kingdom. This is a banquet of hope. We labor, suffer, and even die for Christ in this present age. We do all this with great joy because we hope for a reunion with Him in the Kingdom.
