Spiritual Depression

Today’s message is based on Ruth 2:17-23 and is titled “The Cure for Spiritual Depression.

As we have seen in previous messages in our series on Ruth, the book’s main character is Naomi and her struggle with being angry with God. Last week’s message focused on scenes with Ruth and Boaz, but this week we return to Naomi and see how her situation is a case study in spiritual depression.

Our examination will focus on three points: 1. The characteristics of spiritual depression; 2. The causes of spiritual depression; and 3. The cure for spiritual depression.
