First, we are called by God to universal petition
Why we are to pray for those in government:
#1: Because God saves sinners

The moral degeneration of society:
Step #1: God gave them up to uncleanness, 24
Step #2: God gave them up to vile passions, verse 26
Step #3: God gave them up to a reprobate mind, verse 28

Second, we are called by God to intellectual transformation
Third, we are called by God to divine compassion
