Judas The Apostle

The apostle Judas is a difficult character to think about in scripture. Here is one who was chosen as an apostle, to be closest to Jesus and taught with care, yet he is referred to as an unbeliever, a thief and even a devil. It would have been better had the son of perdition not been born, Christ said. Yet Judas was chosen of Jesus with full knowledge of what he would do and was even a necessary part of God's plan for the sacrifice of Jesus.
