God Jealous for His People
Series Exodus
God had delivered his people from the gods of Egypt, in terms of their physical presence, but throughout their history God's people carried the desire for other gods in their hearts. The incident of the golden calf indicates both the depth of rebellion in the hearts of God's covenant people and also the divine jealousy for His name.
