Crushing Idolatry (Ezekiel 6:1-14)

1. God will crush the places of false worship (1-7)
   a. Do you have any place of false worship?
2. God is crushed because of the people who commit idolatry (8-10)
   a. Are you crushing God with your false worship?
3. God will crush the people who commit idolatry (11-14)
   a. God will not tolerate a rival in His domain

We don't need idols when we have Jesus as our Lord.

Col. 1:15
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.

Application:
The call is to worship Jesus in Spirit and in truth. Many times, the things that get us upset and frustrated are things that relate to our idols instead of things that relate to worship of the Lord Jesus Christ. Are you frustrated and bothered by what the Lord Jesus Christ is doing in your life or are you frustrated and bothered because you can't get done what you want to get done?

Let us rid ourselves of trivial pursuits and set our affections on the Lord Jesus Christ. Once Christ is our engine we can go anywhere successfully, but many of us are running on nothing.
