How we know the Bible is true

Sola Scriptura, Scripture alone. If the scriptures are so central and foundational, then we must address certain questions: 1) What are the scriptures? 2) Were various scriptures lost or suppressed? 3) How do we know we're even in the right ballpark with the Bible? How do we know the Bible is God's Word, as opposed to the Koran or some other book that claims divine inspiration?
