When Everything Falls Apart

We often place great emphasis on the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We have spent some time looking at the Jewish and Roman trials of Jesus, the scourging, the crowds crying out “crucify Him, crucify Him,” the procession of the King to the cross, the three hours of insults from 9-12, the three hours of darkness, and the death of the Son of God. Now, we want to spend some time between the two great columns of the Christian faith-Christ’s death and resurrection. We will walk with the disciples and consider their reaction to the death and burial of their hope and purpose. Have you ever felt like everything was falling apart?
