The Spirit-filled Life

One of the most comforting truths of the Christian life is that God's Spirit lives in us and will never leave us. But being indwelt by the Spirit is not the same as being filled (controlled) by the Spirit. How can you know you are filled with the Spirit? Paul assures us that you can know: i.) evidence # 1: melody (v.19); ii.) evidence # 2: thankfulness (v.20); evidence # 3: submission (v.21).
