Jesus: Lord of the Sabbath

Jesus confronted and was confronted by the Pharisees often. In this passage, Jesus was confronted by this group of highly regarded religious leaders who were zealously committed to their beliefs. But Jesus defined the Sabbath with a deeper understanding than they ever had prior.
