Pure Wisdom

Introducing the theme of James' letter. James is the brother of Jesus, the leader of the early church, and interested in the pursuit of heavenly wisdom over earthly. The wisdom of this world is at enmity with God. We must not adjust our life-pursuit in accordance with popular opinion. We build on the Lord Jesus Christ. The good news is that if we lack this wisdom, we simply ask God for it. He gives supernatural wisdom from above.
