Helplessness: The Key to Effective Praying

Christ taught in the Sermon on the mount: Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs in the Kingdom of God. This is not a status we "outgrow" as we mature but something we become more aware of as we grow in grace. Christ is our justification and our life for our Christian walk and this reminds us that we need Christ's help for all of lie and our prayer life ought to reflect the nature of the Gospel.
