The Administration of Christ's Power and Authority in the Church

Christ the King comes to His Church and indwells it by His Spirit, exercising His power and authority in and through His Church. This is why you see the preaching of the Church in the book of Acts, for instance, being delivered so often in imperatives - commands: Repent. Believe. The apostles' preaching was often said to have been with boldness. All these things indicate that they had been delegated and granted an authority and power by Christ.
