Preparations for Judgment: A Throne (Part 1)

As John's vision continues, he is taken into the throne room of heaven where he sees God on His throne and the 24 elders around Him. He also saw the crystal sea and the four living creatures; like a lion, like a calf, like a man, and like an eagle. Lightning, thunder, lamps of fire, and a rainbow are part of the scene here; lots of visual and audible input for John. Note that it is helpful in Revelation to keep track of WHERE the vision is taking place, because John is taken back and forth between Heaven and earth.
