The Distilled Survival Manual

What Paul gives us in these two verses are five things whereby the believer is enabled to overcome the wiles and attacks of the enemy and thus survive. These distilled points need to be internalized so that they become as automatic as breathing. We are not just to refer to them on occasion but continuously, because danger constantly surrounds us in this fallen world and the battle relentlessly rages between light and darkness. The Lord, through Paul, has gives us a very effective and distilled survival manual and we would do well to make it our own.
