Perfect Peace in Anxious Times

According to the National Institute of Mental Health, anxiety disorders are reaching epidemic proportions. Christians are called to respond by living out and sharing the theology of hope (1 Peter 3:15). But how do we do that? Isaiah also lived in a time of great anxiety. The early chapters in Isaiah detail judgments against the people who have turned their backs on the Lord. Yet, Isaiah consistently returns to hope in the Sovereign Lord. And in the dark backdrop of cultural confusion and chaos, Isaiah pens this diamond of scripture, shining with hope - Isaiah 26:3.
