Principle or Outcome

God's children are always called to act in terms of principle, that is, in accordance with His revealed will and not to shape their actions according to what outcome they think will be best for them. Daniel is an amazing example of someone living by principle and leaving the outcomes in God's hands and his example continues to challenge us even today. We are not to be motivated by outcomes, but by our responsibilities in the circumstances the Lord has placed us; responsibilities that He has clearly revealed in His word.
