This is Bigger Than Me

What do we need to know? We need to know that the kingdom of God is larger than us. “It’s bigger than me.” The kingdom of God is “larger than us” in at least 3 ways:

The kingdom of God is larger than the sum of our experiences.
The kingdom of God is larger than our circle of acquaintances.
The kingdom of God is larger than the scope of our preferences.

All of us – and in this case by “us” I mean all true Christians – all of us are a work in progress. We are all receiving more light from the Lord and His Word. And it’s important that you and I respond obediently to the Light that we have.
