Following Jesus to Jerusalem

Paul is constrained by the Spirit to go to Jerusalem, where he must suffer for the name of the Lord Jesus. Paul travels from Miletus to Tyre, and from Tyre to Jerusalem. Paul has Gospel centered resolutions to suffer for the advance of Christ's kingdom, and God blesses him with Gospel centered hospitality along the way with fellow believers. Paul was enabled to press on because he knew God will vindicate and his reward was in heaven. Paul needed this intimate fellowship with other believers to be encouraged and strengthened in the faith.
