Modern Consequences for Misunderstanding Israel

Many mistakes are made, both theologically and politcally, due to a misunderstanding of the nation of Israel. Under the Old Covenant, Israel was "chosen of God." But Israel broke the covenant and Christ fulfilled the it. The true fulfillment of Israel involves the bringing together of every believer, regardless of nationality. Jews and Gentiles are one in Christ. Modern attempts to separate Israel and the church mitigate against what the New Testament teaches. Our focus should be on the unity we have in Christ.
