The Mob and the Agitators

In this text we see the mob and the agitators of the mob. The priests "stirred up" the crowd. They were able to successfully prey upon the passions and emotions of the crowd and manipulate them to anger and bloodlust. And they accomplished it quickly. In this sermon, we consider the depravity of human nature. How sick are such manipulators! How depraved are the crowds that they are so easily manipulated to violence. Today, America has a mob and America has its agitators. And we are being stirred up to hatred and violence like we've never seen before in this country.
