Elder Jeremy asks the same question Jesus asked in Mark 3: Who are my mother and brothers? He answers that question with examples of the special relationship between believers especially in the local congregation. In some instances our family relationship is overridden by our allegiance to Christ. A telling statement in this sermon is: Christ becomes our brother to make us his brother. He becomes our brother so that we would have a heavenly father.
