The Blessing of Abraham Comes to Abimelech

God has been faithful to Abraham according to the promises He made when He called Abraham from Ur. Then He told Abraham "I will bless those who bless you". Abimelech & Abraham have entered into covenants of peace & Abimelech has been a sourse of blessing for Abraham. Here we see Abimelech partake of Abraham's blessing - exercising faith in Abraham's God & entering into the worship of Abraham's God. We too should live so as to bring others into Abraham's blessing of offering acceptable worship to God through Abraham's promised seed: Jesus Christ.
