The Gospel is the Righteousness of God Revealed

Main Point. The apostle Paul desired earnestly to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world. This involved revealing the righteousness of God in its many facets such as the power of God, the salvation of god, the wrath of God and God's gift of faith.

Conclusion: God has revealed His righteousness to us through Jesus Christ. In Order to be able to stand before Him and fellowship with Him (i.e. eternal life - John 17:3), we must have His righteousness. This is available to us through faith in Christ alone for salvation.
