Series Seasons of Renewal
Walking in Wisdom .[Applying God's Truth to Daily Life]
James 1:5-6; Proverbs 3:5-6; Colossians 4:5-6 KJVAs September brings the changing of seasons, it reminds us that God also calls us into seasons of spiritual renewal—renewing our hearts in love, wisdom, faith, and purpose. This message focuses on how we can walk in wisdom by applying God's truth to our everyday lives.1. Wisdom Is a Gift from God (James 1:5-6) Wisdom isn't earned—it's given. God invites us to ask Him for wisdom, and He gives it liberally. When we face trials or decisions, we don't need to rely on our own understanding—we need God's divine insight.2. Wisdom Requires Trust and Surrender (Proverbs 3:5–6) Walking in wisdom means leaning not on our own reasoning, but trusting fully in the Lord. When we surrender our paths to Him, He faithfully directs our steps. True wisdom begins with trust and humility before God.3. Wisdom Shapes Our Walk and Our Words (Colossians 4:5–6) Wisdom is not only about what we know, but how we live and speak. Our conduct and conversations should reflect Christ, especially toward those outside the faith. In a world full of noise, our lives should echo the grace and truth of Jesus.• The world doesn't need more cleverness—it needs wisdom from above.
• Wisdom is a gift – ask God for it in faith.
• Wisdom requires trust – surrender to God, not your own plans.
• Wisdom shapes your walk and words – let Christ be seen and heard in you.
• Wisdom changes your perspective – it helps you view trials through God's eyes, giving you peace and purpose even in difficulty.
