Diligent Warfare

When lawfully called to do so, the children of God may righteously make war. War is sometimes the arrow of God for punishment of wicked men or nations.

A child of God may participate in war when it is for revenge of injuries such as Israel's mandate to smite Amalek.

Fair and biblical wars must be conducted without unjust violence.

A Christian must first be satisfied that a war is just. Second, he should study military discipline according to his place and calling and value the worthy soldier as an important magistrate within the nation.
