Covenant Children

Aim: To understand the church's responsibility to covenant children.
Exegesis: The church is to receive covenant children, despite our spiritual arrogance (v. 13), because they are loved by (v. 14a) and belong to (v. 14b) God. The church is to imitate covenant children. We need childlike faith and dependence (v. 15). The church is to nurture covenant children, giving them priority attention (v. 16a) and doctrine (v. 16b).
