God Gives the Gift of Worship

God gave Israel the gift of worship. The Tabernacle, its funishings and utensils, as well as the system of offerings themselves, all alike were a gift of God. This worship was centred on the action of atonement, so that Israel could draw near to the presence of God. In Christ the gift of worship has been fulfilled, that we might be brought near forever.
