The Curses of the New Covenant (Heb 10:26-39)
Intro
This is an important passage subjectively (because it troubles many) and objectively (because it clearly applies the New Covenant's blessings and curses).

Exposition

1. The sin in verse 26 is breaking and despising the New Covenant
2. The New Covenant has worse curses for covenant breakers.
3. The people need to inherit the promises through faith and patience.

Doctrine:

1. Salvation is only found in the New Covenant
   'Grace always runs in the covenant of God, but it does not always run in the blood of the veins' (Samuel Rutherford)

2. How dreadful it is for God's covenant-breaking people
   Greater blessings, yes. But greater curses.
