The Worldly Repentance of Judas Iscariot

Judas is sorrowful and filled with regret. His betrayal of Christ has resulted in Jesus being condemned to death. Judas' repentance leads him to confess his wrong, to confess Jesus' innocence, to return the wretched 30 pieces of silver, and to inflict the greatest self-punishment. Yet, his repentance is not a Biblical one and does not save his soul. We need to understand why, so that we can distinguish between godly repentance and worldly repentance.
